The Professional Side

A Hagerstown native, Dr. Jefferies’ career began with an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and Education. He loved the arts and painting, but teaching didn’t allow him enough hands-on artistry. After soul-searching, research, and conversations with family and friends, he found his way to dentistry.

He completed his advanced Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While there, he received high honors on the National Boards of Dentistry and was awarded an Endowed Prize Award for Ethics. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Jefferies completed education courses from highly acclaimed organizations like the Dawson Academy, Spear Education for Advanced Dental Studies, the Piper Education and Research Center, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has also been recognized as a top doctor by Washingtonian magazine.

In addition to a full menu of family and restorative dental care, Dr. Jefferies offers expert cosmetic dental solutions.

The Personal Side

Outside the office, Dr. Jefferies continues to explore fine art as a creative outlet—a nod to his roots in fine arts and education. He also likes to stay on the move, whether that be through motorcycling, road biking, or running. He is passionate about keeping his mind and body active. His outside passions reflect the precision, focus, and artistry he brings to his dental work and his thoughtful approach to dental patient care.

He also loves spending time with his wife, two children, and their labradoodle. You might find him fishing with his daughter, maintaining the small farmhouse, or cheering on his son in flag football and basketball.
